 New Sunday Morning Bible Study

The Prodigal God: Finding Your Place at the Table

Bible Study Image-The Prodigal God

In this Bible Study we are focusing on Jesus’ best known—and perhaps least understood—parable: The Parable of the Prodigal Son. We will seek to apply the truths of Jesus’ parable to our own lives as we glean insights from each of the characters in Jesus’ parable; the irreligious younger son, the moralistic elder son, and the father who lavishes love on them both.

Every Sunday, after Fellowship at 11:00 am
Beginning September 9th through September 30th

Join us for Sunday Worship @ 9:30 am!

Prince of Peace building in Fall colors

We warmly invite you to join us for worship at Prince of Peace. In every service, God is present and speaks to you through His Word, the Bible. At the heart and focus of every service is the message that you and all people need the most – the assurance of forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Please join us Sunday morning to be encouraged and strengthened in your life of faith as we hear of all the great things God has done for us through Christ our Savior.

Sunday Service at 9:30 AM
Sunday School and Family Bible Study at 11:00 AM

Nursery available.
Fellowship following the worship service.

What We Believe

In an age of ...

  • ...anxiety, we believe that real peace comes from Jesus Christ.
  • ...confusion, we believe that the Bible is the word of God without error.
  • ...doubt, we believe that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  • ...guilt, we believe that Jesus died on the cross to remove the power of sin from our lives.
  • ...hopelessness, we believe that Jesus rose physically from death --and so will we rise.
  • ...skepticism, we believe that God is at work in the sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion.
  • ...despair, we believe that God promises to heal and transform us.
  • ...violence, we believe that God calls us to embody his love in the world.
  • ...constant change, we believe in the unchanging Holy Trinity --Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
