Easter Sunday is over but our joy from the resounding victory of Jesus' cross and empty tomb remain. Join us online throughout the Easter season for continued celebration of the victories that are ours through our Lord Christ.
May 10  Victory on the only path to heaven
May 17  Victory no matter what happens in this life
Ascension:May 21 A victory to share with all people

We are here for You!

We warmly invite you to join us for worship at Prince of Peace. In every service, God is present and speaks to you through His Word, the Bible. At the heart and focus of every service is the message that you and all people need the most – the assurance of forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Please join us Sunday morning to be encouraged and strengthened in your life of faith as we hear of all the great things God has done for us through Christ our Savior.

At this time, following our state’s ban on gatherings, and out of loving concern for the health of our members and our community, Prince of Peace has suspended all in-church worship services.

We will continue to post sermons and devotionals on this site to help connect you with God’s Word during this difficult time. You can also "attend" our video recorded Sunday Services through our YouTube channel.

An important message from Pastor Mark Westra --

Dear friends --
I will be working from home but will still be available by contacting the church office number.

The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged
– Deuteronomy 31:8.

What We Believe

In an age of ...

  • ...anxiety, we believe that real peace comes from Jesus Christ.
  • ...confusion, we believe that the Bible is the word of God without error.
  • ...doubt, we believe that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
  • ...guilt, we believe that Jesus died on the cross to remove the power of sin from our lives.
  • ...hopelessness, we believe that Jesus rose physically from death --and so will we rise.
  • ...skepticism, we believe that God is at work in the sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion.
  • ...despair, we believe that God promises to heal and transform us.
  • ...violence, we believe that God calls us to embody his love in the world.
  • ...constant change, we believe in the unchanging Holy Trinity --Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
