We offer a variety of programs for children and teens.
Vacation Bible Camp
Our annual Vacation Bible School Program is a weeklong program for children ages 3 and half – 5th grade. At VBS the children meet new friends, sing great songs, make crafts, play games, and learn about their God and Savior through Bible Stories.
Our annual Fun Fair is a Community Festival complete with Carnival Games, Bounce Houses, snacks, and prizes. Not only is this a fun event for the kids but also helps to raise money to benefit a local charity in the community. In 2017 it will benefit the Perinton Volunteer Ambulance Dept.
Mornings with Mommy –NEW!
Beginning in the fall of 2017, we are excited to kick off our new program called Mornings with Mommy. It is a program where moms get to enjoy fun activities with their children and meet other moms. Look for more information in July 2017.
Sunday School - at 11:00 AM every Sunday (Labor Day to Memorial Day weekends)
Children from age 3 to grade 8 will learn God’s plan of salvation as it is unfolded in Bible lessons that tell them about the life and work of Jesus. Our Sunday School features Christ-centered lessons and a welcome atmosphere with caring and committed teachers.
The teens periodically get together to play games, watch a movie, eat food, and just enjoy the company of other young people.
Once every summer the youth at Prince of Peace meet with other Christian youth across the country for a Youth Rally. There the teens get to participate in edifying workshops, gather together for daily worship, and have fun with other young people who share in their faith. This year the Youth Rally is taking place in Cincinnati, OH. (http://www.welscyd.net/site/cpage.asp?cpage_id=180102791&sec_id=180000507)
We think it is important that teens are given opportunities and encouraged to let their light shine. We have many service opportunities available throughout the year so that they can exercise and show their Christian faith both in the church and out in the community.
Teen Bible Study every Sunday at 11:00 AM (Labor Day to Memorial Day weekends)
Once a week the teens get-together for their own Bible Study. These Bible Studies help the teens apply God Word to their life and most importantly help them to grow in their relationship with their Savior.
