Mornings with Mommy Picnic
July 26th afternoon, parents and kids gathered for an end-of-season picnic at Prince of Peace Church. The weather was perfect for outdoor play and the chance for friends (new and old) to gather over a cookout lunch. Thanks to everyone who came, celebrated and help make it happen!

Spring Cleanup 2018
Spring has sprung in Rochester and of course the Prince of Peace church grounds. A mild, shady Saturday made it ideal for a bunch of volunteers from the congregation to come together and spruce up our church - inside and out. Here is that story of fellowship in pictures. Enjoy!

Fun Fair 2017
Prince of Peace hosted it's fourth annual Fun Fair, a community fund raiser for the Perinton Volunteer Ambulance. The church congregation and wonderful helpers from sister churchs all came together to host visitors from Perinton, Fairport and beyond. Visitors and children played games, made art and enjoyed fun snacks. See some of the smiles that were captured.

VBS 2016
Pastor Mark Westra and a team of hard-working helpers taught an enthusiastic group of children about our Savior Jesus Christ, and how Jesus promises to care for us – like master farmers care for and love their 'barnyard animals' - under the theme 'Barnyard Roundup'. Lots of fun!

Fun Fair 2015
Prince of Peace teemed up with the Perinton Volunteer Ambulance (PVA) and coordinated a Fun Fair (8-15-2015) for the community and beyond. Carnival games, face painting, and more were enjoyed by many (young especially). The charitable  event funneled all profits to the PVA, to support their continued community service.

VBS - Summer 2015

Pastor Mark Westra and a team of hard-working helpers taught an enthusiastic group of children how Christ's teaching for us to 'love our neighbor' means cooperating with one another, working together. The theme was 'We're Going Camping''.

Youth Rally Trip - July 2014
Last June two of our church's teens attended the WELS International Youth Rally, held in Knoxville, TN.  They spent almost four days participating in huge worship services, going to workshops, swimming, watching live music and entertainment, and making new friends.  One of our teens said, "My favorite part was that there were over 1,600 people there, and all of them shared my faith.  It was awesome!"

VBS - Summer 2013
Pastor Mark Westra and a team of hard-working helpers taught an enthusiastic group of children how Christ's teaching for us to 'love our neighbor' means cooperating with one another, working together. The theme was 'The Amazing Praise Band', and students learned how to play their instruments together, harmoniously to make beautiful music.

VBS-Summer of 2011
Prince of Peace volunteers and teachers enjoyed sharing the saving news of Jesus with about 42 young students. Good weather during the week allowed outdoor activities in between lessons.
